WHY COMMON SENSE ANALYTICS?
The dictionary offers the following definitions:
Common sense:
Sound practical judgment that is independent of specialized knowledge, training, or the like; normal native intelligence
Analytics:
- Logic; the science of logical analysis
- The analysis of data, typically large sets of business data, by the use of mathematics, statistics, and computer software
- The patterns and other meaningful information gathered from the analysis of data
Putting it all together, then, is the premise of Common Sense Analytics. I believe that analytics should be accessible to anyone. Here at Common Sense Analytics University (or CSA University, for short), you will find courses and coaching that will allow you to step up your game when you're dealing with your everyday business management responsibilities.

Hi, I'm Dani
I'm excited that you found your way to my page!
At CSA University you have the opportunity to learn how business analytics can take you to a new level in your (non-analyst) profession.
I have almost 20 years of experience in financial services, where I have spent about half of my career in analytics functions and the other half in various business roles. For more about my professional background, please check out my LinkedIn profile!

My passion lies in improving the partnership between business management and analytics. We can bridge the gap by focusing on common business goals and learning each other’s language.
I have seen first-hand how misunderstood, intimidating, and under-used analytics can be in business settings. It is considered to be a discipline reserved for mathematically gifted individuals.
I firmly believe that the output created by analysts should be accessible to everyone. That's the purpose of my coaching. You do NOT need to understand complex statistics. My focus is on creating an understanding of analytics that translates into practical applications in your job.
